Adult White Belt Syllabus

The White belt level is an introduction to martial arts etiquette, respect and discipline. Learn the basic meditation and relaxation breathing positions and exercises. Basic footwork, basic groundwork and falling techniques. Overview of vital hand strikes, kicking techniques and boxing combinations. Introduction to submissions and throwing concepts. Self-defence from the mirror wrist grab attack situation with an attacker aiming to control you by the wrist or arm by pulling and pushing. You will learn basic escapes, strikes and control with throwing and submissions. You will finally learn the basic movement to circle work escapes, awareness, managing distance and evasion against multiple attackers.
