Teen Beginner

The Beginner modules are an introduction to martial arts etiquette, respect and discipline. Learn the basic meditation, stretching and relaxation breathing exercises. We also introduce basic footwork, conditioning, groundwork and falling techniques. You will learn the differences and purpose of vital hand strikes, kicking techniques, boxing punches and movement. Basic grappling positions, movement, escapes and submissions are taught to get you comfortable in a ground fighting situation. Introduction to the clinch environment with submissions and throwing concepts along with self-defence from various common attacks such as a wrist or arm grabs, uniform or clothing grabs, head or hair grabs and attacks from the rear. You will learn basic escapes, strikes and control with throwing and submissions from all of these situations. You will finally be taught to deal with a high pressure situation by learning circle work movement with escapes, awareness, managing distance and evasion against multiple attackers.
